MLMSurvivor.com Needs Your Help

Recently, a Quixtar (Amway) diamond sued MLMSurvivor. This necessitates more time, effort, and money spent to defend our rights to speak freely about the deceptions, frauds and abuses found in many MLMs.

Last year, an MLM called Trek Alliance tried to have MLMSurvivor.com shut down. This forced me to do several things I hadn't planned on:

  • Spend several hundred dollars in legal fees
  • Migrate the website to a new host

This website has been available since fall of 1997. During this time we've

  • posted vital information about dozens of MLMs
  • received and answered thousands of emails
  • located and posted legal complaints about MLMs
  • referred site visitors to experts in a variety of categories to help with a wide variety of problems
  • started a discussion group (MLM Survivors Club) which is in the top 10 consumer sites on Yahoo.

For nearly five years, I've been funding this site out of my own pocket, and in my spare time.

Although neither the site nor I have been named in any lawsuits, my legal bills have now exceeded $15,000 -- the majority of that in fending off unwarranted and predatory subpoenas from Amway in cases that had nothing to do with me.

I simply cannot continue paying these sorts of expenses. (Those of you with older teenagers know that this is about the cost of one year of college, and I have college students!) This means that I have to make MLMSurvivor.com self supporting.

Thousands of you have written to say you've been helped by MLMSurvivor.com. Please help MLMSurvivor now so this site can continue to help others like you.

How You Can Help

Send a donation! If you have been helped by any of the information here, or by the MLM Survivors Club, please send a donation to assist in paying off these legal fees and to keep the site running. How much would you have spent in a month with your MLM? Consider making a donation in that amount -- although any amount will be much appreciated.

Use our affiliate links! If you'd like to support MLMSurvivor.com but have been too cleaned out by MLM to make a donation, there's another way you can help. You'll notice some links on most pages. If you're going to be blocking spam email, ordering books, renting DVDs, buying or selling on eBay, etc., please consider using one of our links to do it. It doesn't cost you anything, and the small amounts we get paid eventually add up to something.

How to Donate

You can donate in two ways.

  1. Send a check. Pyramid Scheme Alert has agreed to act as a clearinghouse for donations. Please make your check or money order out to
