PRSI Permanently Shut Down in Louisiana

The office of the Attorney General in Louisiana has announced that PRSI is permanently barred from doing business in that state. PRSI, headquartered in Boca Raton, FL, is under a temporary injunction there pending trial. The company's assets and defendants' personal assets have been frozen pending the outcome of the trial.

On January 28, 2000, Attorney General Richard Ieyoub’s request was granted. It effectively bars PRSI from operating in the State of Louisiana. According to Ieyoub:

"This is final. No longer can PRSI, its owners, operators and ring leaders here in Louisiana or anywhere else attempt to sell and/or promote this phony internet scam. Anyone approached about PRSI should contact my office immediately."

Ieyoub described PRSI as "a pyramid scheme disguised as a network marketing company."
