The woman he raped on March 4, 1996, was thoroughly traumatized by the event. Suffering from suicidal depression, she was admitted to a hospital for evaluation on April 18. She had been suffering frequent nightmares related to the rape, along with increased irritability, suppressed appetite, anxiety, fatigue, and related symptoms. The diagnosis? Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Acute Depressive Disorder.
Before the rape, this young woman was a contented young mother, gainfully employed, with an active lifestyle. Since then, she has been unable to participate in normal day-to-day activities, nor has she been able to work to her full potential.
Recruiting of new members into any MLM depends on establishing a relationship of trust between the new recruit and the recruiter and his/her upline. In an organization where male leaders have a reputation for multiple sexual conquests among their downline -- a reputation which seems well deserved -- this trust is certainly not warranted.
