More than one year ago, a former Amway distributor was doing some household cleaning using Amway Metal Cleaner. When he squeezed the tube, it exploded and sent a stream of highly abrasive Metal Cleaner into his eye. He was severely injured, and attempts to reach a settlement with Amway and its insurance company have been fruitless.

He has recently put up a website, titled The Amway Files, which documents the accident, the injury, and subsequent events. It includes pictures and illustrations, and shows just how far this self-proclaimed "ethical" company is willing to go to take responsibility for a defective product.
