Florida's Attorney General has launched an investigation of Rexall Showcase, Inc., the multi-level marketing arm of Rexall Sundown. The investigation will determine whether the company has violated Florida's laws regarding pyramid schemes. Rexall Showcase sales account for nearly 30% of Rexall Sundown's revenues worldwide, and has branches in Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Mexico.

Last year, Rexall ran afoul of authorities in Taiwan by recruiting distributors there before they were authorized to do business in the country.

The company denies any wrongdoing.
