Skybiz Distributor Arrested in Canada

Skybiz 2000, also known as Skynary, has been the subject of regulatory scrutiny in several countries. While the list of warnings about this company grows, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police have been gathering evidence about the company's activities in Canada.

The RCMP has arrested a distributor from Regina, Saskatchewan. The government is charging that, as an agent of Skybiz, she operated an illegal pyramid scheme. An attorney for the company claims they have 800,000 distributors in 180 countries.

Previously, the RCMP had announced that they were investigating Skybiz, and a Calgary Skybiz associate had filed a $1.1 million lawsuit against the RCMP for "false and discriminatory" accusations.

Skybiz is based in Tulsa, OK.

Meanwhile, in New Zealand, the Commerce Commission's Fair Trading Division has announced an investigation of Skybiz as a possible pyramid selling scheme.

In February, Australia issued a similar warning.
